Last Promenade ♔

"'Tis the night for this will never come again."

One of the best nights a High School student could ever experience is the Junior & Senior Promenade. Even though our Prom is only held at our roof deck, still I can say that we had our experience since some students from other schools say that they don't have Prom. That sinked in my mind and all of a sudden I was able to say, "We're still lucky."

This year's theme for the Prom is Hollywood so as expected, many girls would be on their long gowns revealing their slender bodies while some girls prefer the petticoat kind of gowns. Of course, guys were still shining bright with their ravishing suits. They look so neat & clean during that night. Haha. :D

As the emcee (again) for this year's Prom, I need to get in school early because I'll be hosting the event. But said to say, I failed. Haha! :) But it's ok. I was early last year, so the heck I care if I'm late?! And besides, Prom wouldn't & couldn't start without ME. :P So yeah, kidding aside, I went to school at around 6:05PM I think? Haha. I was stranded with too many students along our gate and I find it hard running with my 2 and a half inch heels matching with my fudging long gown! >_< That's what I really hate about being a girl. :| 'Nuff with that, I made my way to the registration area and ran fast through the stairs 'cause my co-emcee, Diane Gundaya, was already there! I felt so nakakahiya for that. :)) Some Abad Santos guys even joked around me on my way to the stairs and they said, "Oy walang escort! Escortan nyo!" They even said, "Wow Jamie, backless!" Even if my gown wasn't that backless at all. Hahaha. :)) I was really nerve-wrecked that time since my hair & make-up was finished by 5:30PM. I just went to our nearest salon for that and I started around 3:15PM. I didn't think that it would last that long. XD

Here are some of our pictures while hosting. Haha. I didn't know we were taken pictures! Credits to Mia Uy for taking some shots. :) The program went well and all. Actually we really had fun taking pictures. Hahaha. Maybe this post will be bombarded by pictures. My legs & feet really got tired of walking and dancing the night away.

At first, I really thought that I will just be a benchwarmer. I never expected guys to ask me for a dance since I know that most guys are afraid of me. Haha. Idk. Maybe it's because I'm somehow not like what other girls are. I was surprised to be danced by Kenn Condecido & Edward Maravilla. Parang mga katropa ko lang talaga sila to be honest. :)) Meanwhile, for the other guys who danced me (na ayoko nang banggitin dito) Kilala naman na nila kasi mga sarili nila! Like, 3 or 4 more guys? Yeah, Idc. Haha! Thank you so much, guys. Somehow, you still made my last JS Prom. :D

I've been also waiting for this last Prom to come. I asked God for a sign to come during our last Prom. Actually, I already made that sign inside my head. Remember Giant? So, I asked God for a sign. Last year's Prom, we both have the same color of clothes worn that night. His suit was light orange while mine's somehow red orange. We danced two songs; namely I'd Rather by Luther Vandross & Fixing A Broken Heart by A1 (I think?? :D) Many friends of mine said that we looked cute while dancing. We were at the center and it's like we owned the night. :3 Enough with that, I asked God that if ever we both have again the same color of clothes and if ever he would dance me, that means there's still a chance for us. And that, we're meant to be. :"> But both of those signs.. unfortunately, wasn't granted. :( He wore a silver suit while I wore a gold gown and he didn't even dance me. He saw me dancing with Mr. President that night but he didn't even manage to say hi to me. He just looked at me intently with his burning eyes. :| I waited until the last song, but yeah.. he didn't. That's when it finally got into me that we are not for each other. Half of me was sad, half of me was happy. The sad part tells me that I waited for nothing. While the happy part tells me that, I'm free to entertain anyone in my life now. I feel so relieved though because now I can honestly say that HE'S OUT OF MY LIFE. :)

Now to sum my whole last Prom experience, allow me to fill this post with PICTURES.

Now the following pictures were my pictures after Prom. I really got tired that's why my face looks asdfghjkl. :))

I seriously look like a gay. Ewness overload. x_x Then my eyes look like a cat's eyes! Goodness. :|

Much better. Haha. Loose curls and no make up. That is so me. ;)

The morning after Prom. So much better than the night itself. Hihi. I just don't like my face full of make up. XD

So yeah, that's just my last Prom experience. It's not that cool compared to other girls who really danced their butts off 'cause I know that I'm not pretty to catch a guy's attention. Nevertheless, I'm still thankful to the 5 or 6? (Haha!) guys who danced with me that night. Still, it was a night worth remembering. :) See you again in our Senior's Ball! :)

Before I end this post, I would like to ask you bloggers a question. It's really boggling my mind ever since I was a Junior 'cause one of my schoolmates said that I look like Julia Montes. O_o The oh-so pretty girl. ♥ Geez. So I'd like to ask you, do I really look like her?

Comments for this picture would be highly appreciated! Thank you!

Student's Week 2013

Hi guys! It's been a long time since I last posted here on my blog. Grabe, nakakamiss din pala 'no? Ever since nung magbirthday ako, wala na. It's been a month after ng birthday ko at ngayon lang ulit ako nakapag-update. :)) Sorry for making you wait for my next post. Hectic lang talaga ang sched. namin. Alam niyo naman, Seniors na e. Andaming gawain sa school. Kulang na lang sa school na kami matulog! :)) (Kung pwede pang matulog.) Kidding aside, let's go to the main course of my latest post. As we all know, ang February ay dagsaan na ng problema sa QCA. Haha. Well, not exactly problema pero last month na kasi yan before the so-called finals. And yes, we were really bombarded with stress last week.

Student's Week, as we call it happens every first or second week of the month of Feb. This is the time when we, students, alter our teachers to give them at least two days break from their passion. The organization who handles this is the Pabinhian. I was elected as the President of this group last June or July I think? :D Actually, I wasn't really expecting to be elected but my classmates insisted since most of them are part of the Local or Central Student Government. To cut things straight, I handled a group with 90 members for the first time in my HS life. I feel so happy and honored of course and I only want the best since it's my first time. Months passed and soon February came. Though I was really exhausted because I have to handle it with matching maintaining my academic grades, I didn't give up. I know that the people around me believes I can do it. They always say that, "This wouldn't be given to you if they know that you can't handle it." I believe in them but of course, I also know that I have my personal weaknesses and flaws. During those times, I felt that I wasn't supposed to be in that position because I can't prove  myself. I always felt that I don't deserve it but with the help of my friends, I made it through. This post is for the people who never left my side during my not-so-lovable days.

First of all, I would like to thank God for giving me this opportunity to lead a group. I know that as a beginner I still have lots of things to learn but I am proud to say that somehow I made a greater advancement this year.

Second, I would like to thank Sir Alvin Llaneta for never giving up on me and the Pabinhian people. He's very supportive in every decision I made and without his guidance, I wouldn't be able to surpass this.

(L: Gladys; R: Me)
I would also like to thank our DepEd Secretary and my bhebhe, Gladys Socia for not letting me down. I always call her during inconvenient times and I know that sometimes she gets irritated because I always ask her what I should do. She's definitely one of the best! :)

This girl!! :) Yeaaah. Say hi to her precious smile. Hihi. I really like her smile in this picture. :D She's Ruth Marielle Sargento, my beloved Vice President. Next year, I'm looking forward to seeing her doing my duties. Haha. :) I knew her personally by means of this Student's Week. I also want to thank her for being there when we were observing & grading the student teachers. I know that she was tired because she spent 48 hours with me. Lol. XD Loveyou, godchild! ♥

Next, I would like to thank all of the supervisors who were really a big help to me. Actually, they were the cause of my stress. Kidding. ;)) So here they are;

Bernadette Flores (TLE Area)

Denise Rose Cuadro (English Area)

Diana Pauline Kiaco (Social Studies Area)

Christian Joseph Almirol (Math Area)

Veniece Kenia Aquines (Filipino Area)

Elaine Jane Villas (Science Area)

Katleen Nika Magsino (MAPEH Area)

The next pictures will be so random. :)) Let's just say that we're so happy and sometimes we don't care how decent we look at the pictures. XD

I can't find the solo pictures of the Sophomores. Mehehe. :)) Anyways, thank you again guys for making my Senior life more memorable! :D This was such a great experience. :)
